DR. RAJENDRAKUMAR PATEL

Dr. Rajendra (Raj) Patel has practiced medicine since 2012. With over seven years in practice, Dr. Raj Patel is honored to serve the medical needs of Cranford with a focus on primary care. His medical experience includes time as a primary care, hospitalist and as a teacher. After graduating from Mercer University School of Medicine in Georgia, Dr. Patel started practicing as an academic hospitalist where he worked with medical students and resident at Emory University Hospital Midtown in Atlanta, GA. He held the title of Assistant professor of medicine at Emory University School of Medicine. Dr. Patel graduated at the top of his class in medical school. He received several awards during his residency training including, “Resident of the year by faculty”, “Resident of the year by Clinical staff”, “Physician of physicians”, “Resident of the year by medical students”, “Best Teacher”, and “Best Intern”. He also received “Academic Excellence Award” for obtaining highest grade in in-service exam during his third year of resident training. He is also a fellow of American College of Physicians. He has a special interest in teaching residents and medical students. He has published several papers and had done poster as well as oral presentations at regional and national meetings.

He relocated to New Jersey given his family ties. He sees patients at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Somerset as well as in the office and various rehabilitation facilities. He is also involved in teaching residents at RWJ University Hospital Somerset Hospital. His certifications include American Board of Internal Medicine, ACLS and BLS.

He enjoys playing tennis and outdoor activities and travelling in his spare time. He also enjoys spending time with his wife and two children at home

DR. POOJA PATEL

Dr. Pooja Patel M.D. is a Board certified Internal Medicine physician who specializes in the care of patients with age 18 years and above. Dr Patel received her medical degree from Baroda Medical College in India and completed her residency from Trinitas Regional Medical Center in New Jersey. She has experience of 7 plus years working as an Internal Medicine Physician in Reading, PA. She always wanted to come back to her home town in NJ. Dr Patel is a part of many professional societies at national and local level. She is a member of American Medical Association, Society of Hospital Medicine, American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin. She holds leadership position in the Executive Committee of New Jersey State American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin. In 2014 she was recognized by Consumer Research Council of America as one of the America’s Top Physicians in Internal Medicine. She was also nominated for Who’s Who in America in Medicine and Healthcare. She has affiliations with Overlook Medical Center.

DR. MANDEEP OBEROI

Dr. Oberoi is a Board Certified Internal Medicine Physician practicing for more than 20 years. His medical experience includes Primary Care, Emergency Care, Hospitalist. Dr. Oberoi was at the top of his class throughout medical school and residency at UMDNJ Newark. He has many years of ER experience with expertise in minor procedures. His certifications include American Board of Internal Medicine, ACLS, BLS, PALS and ALTS.

In his free time he enjoys playing Golf, hiking and nature walks. He practices yoga meditation on a daily basis and is also a voracious reader.
